Life at work

The true colors of life

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it! It is something like a yellow light. We'll never know whether to speed up or slow down.

Life can be challenging & unpredictable. Sometimes, we feel the need to go at it alone and isolate ourselves from valuable sources of support. We may tell everyone that we're feeling ok in order to avoid discomfort, but a painful insecurity often lurks beneath the surface, creating confusion about the significance of our feelings, as we find ourselves seeking clarity, understanding, and peace in our hearts and minds.

Being human, we can often feel insecure or self conscious about our manhood. Cultural expectations for us have dramatically shifted in recent generations, leaving us confused about what our role in society is today. Being a man is truly self determined, guided by personal values & expressed through personal authenticity. In the meantime, men have been equally conditioned to believe we should look, feel, act, and be a particular way in order to be considered acceptable.

Planning is one of the most important in our daily life. It provides a clear map to follow. Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning. A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow.

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. Let GOD be the chief architect of your plans. He has all of the master blueprints for success.
